KISORO UGANDA: Residents of Kanyamegeri Village in Chihe Parish, Nyakinama Sub-county, Kisoro District, were on Friday shocked after discovering the body of an unidentified man floating in Lake Mutanda.
According to residents, the body was first spotted at around midday by a sailor who was travelling across the lake. The sailor immediately alerted nearby residents, who in turn informed Kisoro Police for assistance.
Residents retrieved the body and brought it to the lakeshore to allow members of the public to identify the deceased. The man was found wearing black trousers and no shirt. He also had visible injuries on the face, head, and back, prompting suspicions that he may have been killed elsewhere before his body was dumped in Lake Mutanda.
